About Expectica IQ

Built by operators who spent 25 years living the contract chaos problem.

We Built This Because We Lived the Problem

For 25 years, we worked in operations, M&A integration, and enterprise technology. At every company, the same problem existed: contracts were organizational orphans.

Sales signed deals and moved on. Finance expected someone else to track renewals. Legal drafted agreements but didn't monitor commitments. Operations had no visibility into what was actually contracted.

The result? Missed renewals, forgotten vendor commitments, budget surprises, and revenue slipping through cracks.

We watched companies lose hundreds of thousands of dollars—not because they made bad decisions, but because nobody managed the gap between what they expected and what they'd actually committed to.

Traditional CLM tools didn't help. They required manual uploads, behavior change, and process overhead that busy teams ignored.

So we built Expectica IQ: autonomous agents that manage expectations by managing the information underneath them.

Managing Expectations by Managing Information

Every business runs on expectations:

CFOs expect to stay within budget. But vendor contracts contain auto-renewal clauses and price increases nobody's tracking.

Sales VPs expect renewals to close. But termination windows are opening and nobody knows customers can cancel.

CEOs expect financial projections to be accurate. But the numbers are based on guesses, not actual contracted commitments.

Expectica IQ closes these gaps. Our autonomous agents extract commitments from contracts and communications, then surface where reality diverges from expectations—before it's too late to act.

We don't just organize contracts. We manage the expectations built on them.

Built by Operators Who've Lived This Pain

We're not consultants or theorists. We built the systems, led the integrations, and fixed the messes.

Danielle Gifford

Co-Founder & President

As co-founder and President, I handle the business side of Expectica IQ—operations, finance, customer relationships, and strategic planning.

I hold an MBA and bring a strategic perspective to complement Solomon's technical expertise. Together, we've built Expectica IQ to solve a problem we both understand: contracts are organizational orphans, and the resulting chaos costs companies real money.

My role is making sure we build sustainably—focusing on customer outcomes, financial discipline, and operational clarity. We're not just building features; we're building a business that helps companies manage expectations based on reality.

Solomon Gifford

Co-Founder & CTO

I've spent 25 years building and integrating enterprise systems across SaaS, managed services, and private equity. Led platform architecture, M&A integration, and technology operations at scale.

At every company, I watched the same contract chaos play out. Deals got lost when reps left. Vendor renewals surprised finance. Nobody could answer "What are we actually committed to?"

Expectica IQ is the solution I wish I'd had in every previous role.

Our Approach

Three principles that make Expectica IQ different.

Zero Friction

We work where contracts already live—in email. No manual uploads, no new tools to learn, no behavior change required. Just integrate with M365 or Google Workspace and we handle the rest.

Autonomous Intelligence

Our agents don't just file contracts. They extract expectations (renewal dates, termination windows, payment obligations), track commitments, and alert you when action is needed—before windows close.

Expectation Management

We show you the gap between what you expect (budgets, forecasts, projections) and what's actually contracted (legal reality). Then we give you time to close the gap before it becomes a budget surprise or revenue miss.
